Rain rain go away. Come again another day! (Part Two: Bella Umbrella)

Umbrells

Umbrellas. Not a normal item on my fashion accessories checklist but with the weather set to rain for the next 9 days, an umbrella is starting to look like a pretty good investment.

So what is out there at the moment in terms of designer umbrellas? The choices are endless. Ranging from Topshop and Mango to Alexander McQueen and Prada. I am overwhelmed at all the options I have. Did you know that even the luxury brands are all in it to win it? And what do they have on offer? Pretty much their usual – Burberry will always play with their classic tartan, Gucci with their ubiquitous insignia and Louis Vuitton with their signature LV du jour. For younger and more playful colour ranges and design – opt for Topshop, Marc Jacobs, Moschino, Missoni and Modcloth.

Want to treat yourself? Then splash out on a Louis Vuitton (LV) umbrella for $780USD. It’s a timeless classic that never gets old, you’ll be the envy to many for years to come.

Although I’d love to own a LV umbrella of my own, that price tag is a little too steep for my wallet so I would probably settle for something a little less luxurious and something that is a little bit different. Perhaps a Senz umbrella is just what I’m looking for. It has a functional and aesthetically quirky design, engineered to be storm proof and it comes in all the bright shades and modern prints. It ticks all the right boxes for me and fits a lot better in my affordability price bracket. The quest for a bella umbrella – complete!
